Chorus LEADERSHIP

MEET OUR DIRECTOR

Director Hannah Goldman, an experienced music educator and vocalist, is the Choir Director at Lennard High School.

During the week, you can find her leading daily rehearsals, facilitating booster and leadership meetings, and interacting with students in the hallway.

Hannah strives to create a space in her classroom where students feel heard, respected, and accepted. Choral students know they can do anything they set their mind to and that they always have their choir family in their corner.

While finishing her Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music Education, Hannah received a FUSE Grant which allowed her to travel alone to Accra, Ghana, where she conducted research on the relationship between race, music and culture, and public education. Chorus is a space where culture is shared from all over the world and all across history, so it is fundamentally important to her that those cultures and times are represented authentically in the classroom.

Outside of work, you can find Hannah lounging at the beach, paddling along some creek in a kayak, or playing tug-of-war (with shoes- probably) with her dog, Molly. Hannah enjoys the simple pleasures in life; being outdoors, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family.
